Image
Japan's Tokyo "We hope that businesses can utilise the IJEPA agreement promptly to support the economic growth and prosperity of both countries," stressed Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan along with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa on Thursday, August 8, during the signing of the Indonesia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (IJEPA) Protocol Amendment. This strategic economic agreement covers a number of important areas related to trade relations between Japan and Indonesia. It is anticipated that this will make Indonesian companies more competitive with respect to rivals. The agreement offers prospects for enhanced collaboration in the banking industry and trade via electronic systems, support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in leveraging digital platforms and marketplace

An attempt to smuggle more than 800 kg of qat is thwarted by border guards in Jazan.

Image
RIYADH: The Saudi Press Agency said that border guards in Jazan thwarted attempts to smuggle more than 800 kg of qat into the Kingdom. Security patrols in the governorates of Al-Aridah and Ad-Dair seized 500 kilogrammes and 90 kg of qat, respectively. Additionally, a civilian was detained in Ad-Dair for attempting to conceal 226 kg of qat in the car he was operating. Yemen, a significant producer and user of qat, borders Saudi Arabia at Al-Aridah and Ad-Dair. Because qat leaves have a less potent stimulant impact than cocaine or methamphetamine, they are typically eaten. Security officials urged locals to report any information they may have about drug sales or smuggling to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control by emailing 995@gdnc.gov.sa or calling 911 for Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Regions, or 999 for all other regions. source arabnews.com View Synonyms and Definitions

As Prince George reaches eleven, he is given a sweet title.

Image
Prince George's startling likeness to Princess Diana is evident. Prince George, the son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, has gained admiration for the endearing traits he acquired from his mother and father. The small child with endearing names was hailed by Debbie Frank, a royal astrologer who was close to the late Princess Diana, as "sensitive" and "highly responsible," much like his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales. The royal expert claims that Prince George, who just turned 11 years old, is a typical Cancerian.  He is "empathetic, caring, and giving," she said, and he has a "super sensitive sign," according to HELLO! "He resembles his father and his late grandmother in so many ways—both Cancerians who tend to come straight from the heart," she continued. Furthermore, the fact that they are both under the same sign contributes to his great bond with Prince William. Debbie went on, "Cancerians can be self-prote

The Indonesian military purchases Bayraktar TB2 drones to bolster defences.

On August 1, 2024, the Indonesian Air Force, led by Marshal Mohammad Tonny Harjono, the Chief of Staff, revealed the proposal to purchase Bayraktar TB2 drones at a meeting held in the East Jakarta neighbourhood of Halim Perdanakusuma. This choice was made in response to Harjono's recent visit to Baykar Technology in Istanbul, Turkey, where he evaluated the drones' performance and appropriateness for use in military operations in Indonesia.  The tactical armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system, known as the Bayraktar TB2, is created and produced by Baykar. Its integrated design consists of the UAV platform, sophisticated base modules, ground control station, and ground data terminal. It is possible to carry out armed attack missions as well as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions with this Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) drone. The Bayraktar TB2's triple redundant avionics system enables fully autonomous takeoff, landing, and taxiing. With

Attendees at Saudi Mangrove Planting Day exceed one hundred.

RIYADH: In honour of the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, more than 100 volunteers participated in a mangrove planting event. Students from the Red Sea Global English for Tourism program and officials from the Ministry of Environment attended the session, which was organised by Saudi developer Red Sea Global. Mangrove trees are effective in removing carbon dioxide because they can absorb five to ten times more of the element than other plants, according to an RSG representative. According to Raed Albasseet, group chief environment and sustainability officer at RSG, "building a sustainable mangrove ecosystem is crucial to RSG's commitment to safeguarding and enriching the natural environment of their destinations." The company opened the Red Sea Mangrove Nursery last year, and so far, it has transplanted one million seedlings. This year, it hopes to cultivate two million more. This most recent project is a part of a bigger campaign called
