Official Declaration: Pepe is retiring
Real Madrid C. F. would like to thank, love, and admire one of the great legends of our club and of international football, Pepe, following the news of his retirement from professional football. Pepe won everything with Real Madrid during his ten years there, from 2007 to 2017. He won 3 European Cups, 2 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 3 Leagues, 2 King's Cups, and 2 Spanish Super Cups in 334 games over the ten seasons he wore our uniform. In addition, Pepe was one of the best players for the Portuguese national team, winning a Nations League and a European Championship with them. In addition, he contributed to FC Porto's history by winning one Intercontinental Cup, four Portuguese Leagues, five Portuguese Cups, four Portuguese Super Cups, and one Portuguese League Cup.
