The border authorities in Saudi Arabia foil many attempts to smuggle drugs.

RIYADH: The Saudi Press Agency said late Thursday that the Kingdom's Border Guard has foiled multiple attempts by criminals to smuggle drugs into the nation.

Asir police officers found 125,500 and 11,893 narcotic pills in the Al-Raboah and Al-Farsha neighbourhoods, respectively.

Three Ethiopian nationals were detained in the Dhahran Al-Janub neighbourhood of Asir for attempting to import 27 kg of hashish into the nation.

Residents and citizens are being urged by the authorities to report any information about drug-related smuggling or sales by calling 999 in other parts of the Kingdom and 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province.

Additionally, they can reach the General Directorate of Narcotics Control by email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa or by phone at 995. There will be rigorous confidentiality applied to all reports.
