RIYADH: On Sunday, King Salman of Saudi Arabia issued an appeal to the international community to take up its duties and put an end to Israel's heinous crimes against the Palestinian people.

Ahead of Ramadan, King Salman expressed his anguish and emphasised the necessity for safe humanitarian corridors in a speech made on his behalf by Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari.

The monarch expressed gratitude to God for bestowing to the Kingdom the Two Holy Mosques and enabling it to maintain, develop, and accommodate the throngs of tourists and pilgrims that visit these hallowed locations.

He expressed his gratitude to all state sector workers, military and security professionals, and Saudi soldiers stationed at the borders for their commitment to serving their nation.

During the holy month, the king also prayed to God to grant peace and blessings to the Muslim nation and the entire world.
