"Rugged out" Harry and Meghan for revealing "too much about William and Camilla"

According to a source, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's reunion with the Royal Family has been "completely ruled out" following Harry's disrespectful remarks about Queen Camilla and Prince William in a memoir.

Despite rumours that the King's youngest son was eager to take on new responsibilities, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might not be welcomed back into the Royal Family.

Following his pursuit of Queen Camilla and his brother Prince William, royal writer Valentine Low declared that a return has been "completely ruled out." Harry and Meghan, according to Valentine, "said so many things about William, about Camilla, about his own father." Valentine stated this to The Sun. The Sussexes stepped down from their positions in 2020, and Harry published his biography, Spare, in January 2023.

Meghan and Harry wanted to play a hybrid position, where they were half in and half out, but the late Queen made it clear to them both that they could not have that.

"Prince Charles as he was then was absolutely behind that," Valentine continued. It's not like the royal family held divergent opinions."

The main concern was whether their actions in America may impact their royal undertakings. What Meghan and Harry do on a business level, according to him, "would taint the brand and mystique of the monarchy."

It's unclear how things stand between Harry and his father, King Charles, despite the fact that Harry went to see him after it was revealed that he had cancer.

Harry did, however, add that he "would try" to assist his father should he ask for it. Although Harry has made it plain that he does not seek a royal position, after multiple "warm exchanges," he supposedly told his pal that he would temporarily take on a royal role while Charles is ill.

"It is extremely, extremely unlikely that Harry will return to the UK to perform engagements on the King's behalf," Vanity Fair's Katie Nicholl quoted an insider as saying. Prince Harry is not involved in the well-thought-out backup plan that is in place in the event that the king is unable to fulfil his public obligations in the upcoming months."

The source continued, telling Vanity Fair that Prince William and Harry are "barely speaking" and that it is "laughable and unthinkable" that William would want Harry to return and represent the company. William would be the one to take on greater responsibilities during this time, according to people close to him. Harry and Meghan, according to them, "cannot be trusted."
