 Indonesia and six other countries receive a mandate from the OIC to end the war in Gaza.                                                                                 Source Tempo.co Jakarta's TEMPO.CO One of the nations designated by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to take the lead in bringing an end to the conflict in Gaza is Indonesia. In addition to Indonesia, the OIC leaders mandated Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and Nigeria to assist in initiating a political process aimed at achieving peace between Israel and Palestine through a resolution passed following the extraordinary summit held in Riyadh on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
